Terms and Conditions for making a Booking

1. Booking made are all subject to availability of places and are not be deemed to be accepted until confirmed by the Vocal Performance Academy.
2. Once a booking has been made it may be cancelled without charge so long as the booking has not been confirmed by the Vocal Performance Academy (VPA). If the booking has been confirmed by the Vocal Performance Academy the following applies: If more than 1 weeks notice is given before the term start date a full refund less £30 Administrative fee (per student) will be given. If notice of 1 week or less is given no refund is due. In the event of payment for a booking(s) having been made by post-dated cheque(s) they will still have to be honoured. Any refund due (if applicable) would be refunded from the final post-dated cheque once the funds have been cleared by the bank.
3. Full payment has to be made in advance of attendance of classes.
4. Once the initial booking has been confirmed by Vocal Performance Academy (assuming no notice has been given) and the first term has ended (please note this may not be a complete term if the student has joined partway through the term) the booking is automatically extended on an on going basis, term by term. If the student, parent or guardian then wishes to terminate this agreement a half terms notice must be given. Cancelation notice received by (VPA) within the first term (or part of it) does not require the standard half terms notice period. The only financial commitment made is to the end of the first term which still has to paid for.
5. Post-dated cheques can be accepted if agreed in advance with Catherine Francoise. If this method of payment is agreed the total fees due for the full term must be paid submitted. In the event of a post-dated cheque not been honoured the full balance due becomes payable within 7 days i.e. the facility of paying by post-dated cheques is withdrawn.
6. The Vocal Performance Academy reserve the right to exclude students from classes if in their opinion or the opinion of their staff the student concerned is racist, abusive ,violent, offensive, insulting, aggressive rude, or for non payment of fees. Any student excluded from classes will not be eligible for any refunds of fees, any outstanding fee balance will still be payable.
7. If a student(s) misses a lesson(s) outside the Vocal Performance Academy control no refund of fees or proportion of fee is due. If possible, subject to other classes going on, the Vocal Performance Academy will try to offer a free alternative class.
8. If a student(s) misses a lesson for reason(s) within the Vocal Performance Academy control, a prorated fee, based on the total fee paid by the student and the number of classes proposed, if be made by the way of a refund. All refunds will calculated and paid after the end of the term concerned.
9. The Vocal Performance Academy reserves the right to change the location of classes.
